Jeremy King is co-founder and president of Benchmark Executive Search. He has nearly 20 years of experience as an executive search consultant, specializing in senior-executive and board-level positions at VC- and private-equity-backed technology innovators, government contractors and organizations involved in national security and cybersecurity.
In 2014, Jeremy was recognized by ExecutiveBiz as a Top 10 GovCon Executive Recruiter. In 2015, he was featured as one of Bisnow's Trending 40 Federal Innovators and Entrepreneurs, a program that recognizes the top talent in Washington's legal, tech and association communities. Jeremy's experience in the technology industry dates back to 1995, when he led channel sales and business development at Erol's Internet and helped the company become the seventh-largest ISP as it grew from 5,000 customers to more 100,000 customers before being acquired. Jeremy was then recruited to join DHR International, a leading executive search firm, where he was the youngest search consultant and served on the leadership team of the company's early-stage high-technology practice. He graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. degree in political science in 1993.
