David Gerendas

David Gerendas is Group Product Manager at Intel Security (formerly McAfee, Inc.), an industry leader in cybersecurity technologies, services, and research. David is responsible for ensuring Intel Security’s product portfolio meets numerous regulatory and compliance requirements. His team enables over $250M+ in annual sales to customers in regulated industries and markets worldwide – by ensuring products are properly designed, built, and formally evaluated for security and reliability. Prior to joining McAfee in 2006, David held several senior engineering and technology leadership roles in the insurance, healthcare, consulting, and telecommunications industries. He has over 20 years of product development, cybersecurity, and information technology management experience. David holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Pepperdine University. He also holds several industry recognized professional certifications in the area of cybersecurity, including CISSP and CISM.
