James Globe

Vice President of Operations

James Globe, CISSP is the Vice President of Operations at the Center for Internet Security, Inc. (CIS®) East Greenbush, New York. His primary responsibility is leading multiple security operations divisions including a 24x7 security operations center development operations (DevOps), device engineering, vulnerability assessment, Computer Emergency Response Team incident response, big data analytics, cloud adoption, and cyber intelligence teams. Globe also serves as a resource for the continued development and enhancement of processes and procedures related to day-to-day security operations at CIS that identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover cyber threats impacting state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) government entities. He has more than 20 years in technology leadership including extensive experience engineering signal intelligence mission systems, workflow management systems, modeling and simulation systems, and web-based information portals for top-tier banking and defense contracting organizations including Bank of America, SAIC, BAE Systems, and L3 Harris Technologies. Globe’s accomplishments include being a Charter Member of several highly-regarded Security Working Groups, including USAF ASG 645th Security Working Group, L3 Open Source Software Security Working Group, and L3 Application Security Review Board that focus on mission systems compliancy, regulation, secure open source software, and software development source code. He earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Georgia State University. Globe also holds a M.S. from John Hopkins University in Telecommunications and Security Engineering.
