The Awards returns this year, providing recognition for the year’s top performing UK cybersecurity leaders. Credit: Foundry CSO UK has announced that it is now taking submissions for the 2022 CSO 30 UK Awards. CSO 30 recognises 30 security professionals – including CSOs, CISOs, Heads of Security or equivalent – within the UK for demonstrating outstanding business value, innovation and thought leadership within their organisation.The awards are open exclusively to cybersecurity leaders in the UK, with winners being announced in December 2022.The 2021 winners included security leaders from Acacium Group, AirEye, Anglian Water, Arm, Canon Europe Ltd, ClubCISO, Cyber Chain Alliance, Cyber Risk Aware, Cyjax Limited, Danone, Euromoney Institutional, Exabeam, Hovis Ltd., Iron Oak Security, Ludic Group, Netskope, Newsham Business Solutions Ltd, Nomad Foods, Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Proofpoint, Qatar Airways, Ramsay Healthcare UK, Redscan, SheCISO Exec., Telstra Purple, Ulster University/Vaultree, Vodafone, Wave Money and Zonal Retail Data Systems. The number one ranking was awarded to Jitender Arora, CISO of Deloitte UK.The awards are respected by many senior IT leaders in the industry. “The CSO 30 award was an amazing surprise and a great personal achievement”, said Ram Ganeshanathan, senior director, security operations at Arm. “It really helped me reflect on the importance of the work we do and was a great motivation booster. I was delighted to make the final list joined by highly esteemed peers”. Submissions can be made directly or on behalf of an individual via the event website. All entries are reviewed by an expert judging panel and winners announced at the live ceremony.
