If you can keep your data when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you; If you can trust your security plan when the CIO doubts you, But make allowance for the CFO doubting too; If you can secure your org and not be fired for it during the process, Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or, being deceived, don’t give way to deception, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise; If you can strategize – and not make strategy your master; If you can prioritize – and not make priorities your aim; If you can meet with triumph and disaster And treat those two imposters just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by gossip and greed and envy, Or watch the things you gave your life to broken, And stoop and build ’em up with confidence and vision; If you can make one heap of all your gainsAnd risk it on one turn of hire or acquisition, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breath a word about your successes; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after the illusionists are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on”; If you can talk with the C-Suite and keep your virtue, Or walk with corporate leaders – nor lose the common touch; If neither hackers nor mediocrity can hurt you; If all your peers count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of the elevator pitch – Yours is integrity, honor, diligence and trust,

No matter the situation you do get thrust.
