Joseph Dunne is 32-year veteran of NYPD

Joseph Dunne has been chosen as the first Chief Security Officer for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey.

Dunne, formerly first deputy commissioner of the New York City Police Department, will spearhead the creation of a new security department for the Port Authority, tasked with facilitating cooperation with law enforcement and increasing security. The Port Authority operates facilities including the George Washington Bridge, John F Kennedy International Airport, Port Newark, and the World Trade Center.
