Two prominent security leaders recently departed from Fortune 500 positions to enter the consulting ranks.– Robert Littlejohn, long-time Vice President of Global Security for Avon, has founded his own firm, Robert F. Littlejohn & Associates. Littlejohn was responsible for security operations in 140 countries. Prior to Avon, he held a VP position at Pinkertons, Inc. He has also held leadership positions with industry bodies including the Overseas Advisory Council and ASIS International.– Eric Levine has stepped down from his position as VP and CSO for Prudential to create The Levine Group LLC. Prior to Prudential, he was a Special Agent with the US Department of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security, at various times holding security responsibilities for US embassies in Israel and Nepal.In other news, – Robert Storer has been named Vice President – Protective Services for Market Center Management Co. in Dallas. Storer is a former US Marine who has held private-sector leadership positions with American Airlines, Mary Kay Inc., and Vulcan Real Estate. In his new position he is responible for all security operations for the Dallas Market Center, a wholesale merchandise resource with nearly 7 million square feet of space.– Payment solutions company 3Pea has named Omar Khandaker as SVP and CIO. Previously he was CTO and CISO at Wow Technologies with responsibility for design and implementation of a PCI DSS-compliant card processing platform.
