This position reports to the Senior Director of Security and Safety and is responsible for leading security managers, a 135-member guard force and enterprise efforts to secure the Fannie Mae workplace. • Reduces the security risk validated by security metrics • Collaborates with Directors and Officers to engage the workforce in reducing vulnerabilities and operational risks • Oversees the implementation of organizational strategy, establishing goals and standards and developing performance metrics • Leads the Security Enterprise Operations Resiliency Team during life safety events and incidents • Conducts physical security risk assessments and professional security consultation to officers and directors • Develops policies and practices and enforces them with finesse and provides high quality security services based on industry best practices and within a lean budget. • Maintains close coordination with and strong security support for regional offices and Community Business CentersSuccessful candidates will possess the following:• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience • Ten years of corporate security experience • Demonstrated success in leading and managing security personnel in multi-campus work environment • Demonstrated success in positively influencing officers, colleagues and workforce • Five years of demonstrated skills with developing and applying security metrics for risk-based outcomes • Reputation in the security industry for competency and professionalism• Certified Protection Professional preferred.Fannie Mae’s compensation and benefits package is very competitive.
