Global Channel Marketing ManagerHiring Company’s Industry: IT SecurityNumber of Employees: 1,000 – 10,000 Total Compensation: $200k- Base Salary: $170k- Commission / Bonus: 20%- Other: EquityReports To: VP of MarketingLocation(s): Boston, MA Job DescriptionTo increase revenue through the channel by developing and implementing a world wide channel program. Also to drive all initiated campaigns into channel and other partners and leveraging Partners for other marketing activities. Duties & Responsibilities• Identify present situation and needs for channel marketing in each of the subsidiaries, understanding the needs of each subsidiary• Develop and implement a world wide channel marketing program including strategy, leveling and deliverables that meets the needs and can be executed by the subsidiaries• Identify the appropriate localization of the channel marketing program and agree this with each subsidiary, setting expectations for both parties• Monitor the performance of the program, eliciting feedback for each subsidiary, identifying and agreeing improvements. Understand deviations from the agreed strategy and address these with the subsidiary marketing teams, escalating as necessary• Maintain the collateral and initiative to support the program in conjunction with the Corporate and subsidiary marketing teams• Identify the best practice in partner marketing activities and ensure that this is accommodated within the program and shared across the subsidiaries• Establish guidelines, in conjunction with the subsidiaries, that will maximize the channel marketing development• Work with subsidiary channel marketing functions to build and maintain the partner’s website presence. Define content and ensure localization meet the needs to subsidiaries and adhere to the agreed strategy, working with the Web team to achieve this.• Serve as an interface between Corp Marketing, Strategic Alliance Sales and subsidiary Channel Marketing organizations• Develop standard business plan template for subsidiaries to use with channel partners, working with subsidiaries to ensure these plans are completed• Provide proactive support to help subsidiaries recruit and replace channel partners, as well as improving the performance of existing partners• Work closely with subsidiaries to ensure successful execution of campaigns and programs on a country level• Collaborate with other global functions to identify and create opportunities for partner involvement to achieve sales and business plan objectives• Work with education to ensure that channel partners are equipped with product knowledge, identifying gaps in what education can provide and addressing these• Ensure that the ongoing aspects of the partnership, including (but not limited to) training, event co-ordination, equipment requests are executed effectively in the local markets• Provide ROI analysis of investments and success measurement of programsSpecial Conditions• Ability to travel worldwide • Must have valid passport• Location – US based Required Experience• Put together an International channel marketing program • Experience of a matrix organization• Implemented an Int’l channel marketing program • Put together business plan templates for partners• Worked with subsidiary or country organizations • Built an international go-to-market channel• Put together co-marketing campaigns with partners • Implemented a co-marketing, MDF Fund• Partner experience from the IT Industry • Knowledge of Information Security products and players• Budget owner• Operated in an international role including NA and European operations • Computer securitySend Resumes to: ejensen@maxus.net Related content feature What it takes to be a malware analyst The proliferation of ransomware and other attacks has increased demand for experts who can analyze how the software works and devise a response.
