Business Continuity Program Specialist UPDATE: POSITION HAS BEEN FILLEDEDFUND is one of the nation’s leading providers of student loan services under the Federal Family Education Loan Program and has an excellent opportunity for a Business Continuity Program Specialist. Under the general direction of the Chief Security Officer, the Business Continuity Program Specialist develops risk management procedures, business continuance scenarios, and contingency plans for central and distributed systems and networks to maintain operations during downtime and/or major disasters. Identifies and makes recommendations regarding critical points of failure. Develops and implements policies and procedures for business continuance and test plans with various operational and support groups throughout the company. Involved in the evaluation and selection of vendors to ensure service level agreement meet business continuance planning requirements. Serves as the primary resource for all building security requirements.Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Corresponding years of related work experience may be substituted for a formal degree. Must have 5-7 years of relevant work experience and possess the required certifications (i.e., ABCP, CBCP, MBCP, or CFCP). Must have knowledge and understanding of a business continuity program and program development and strong project/program management skills to manage the business continuity program at EDFUND. Must have excellent time management skills, strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal, persuasion and influencing skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to work with changing technology and be proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point.
