This position is also accountable for developing and implementing acorporate technology strategy that ensures the secure and uninterruptedoperation of all information technology systems and supports all corporatestrategies due to heavy reliance on technology to achieve its goals. RESPONSIBILITESAccountable for developing the overall information security vision,strategy, and architecture for the enterprise, including policy andguidelines to support vision and strategic direction. Ensure effectivesecurity and maintenance of the corporate database and all facilities,including software and hardware within the corporation. Ensure applicable compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and information technologyinternal controls computers and network. Establish procedures and standards necessary to control the IT environment;select and use appropriate test procedures and tools; and maintain anorderly system through which modifications may be made to existing systems. Maintain a high level of expertise and knowledge on technology trends andbest practices in technology, specifically in information security arena. Ensure effective recruitment, development, performance and retention ofqualified and motivated staff to achieve Chief Information Technology Groupobjectives. Provides direct supervision to 5 directors and indirect supervision toapproximately 100 employees. Overall accountability for the following groups: Information SecurityOperations, Network Security & Monitoring, Information Security Programs andPolicies, Information Security Solutions, and Security and Risk Assessments.Operating Budget: $1.6 million MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONSOur ideal candidate is a thought leader with a strong reputation forexcellence within the IS industry with extensive experience in a financialservices environment and knowledge of highly complex regulatory andcompliance issues (including dealings with regulators such as the SEC). In addition, demonstrated expertise to rise to the challenge of managingsignificant and difficult change in connection with a changing IS strategywhile building and leading high performing teams. Bachelor’s degree required with advanced degree preferred.15+ years in information technology with a recent focus on information andonline security in a BANKING OR FINANCIAL SERVICES environment.Experience in developing security architecture which enables businessstrategies to operate in an efficient, secure manner Experience in integration of enterprise wide systems and change managementpracticesExtensive leadership experience, including successful project or changemanagement accomplishments COMPENSATION: This position includes a competitive base salary, additionaltarget compensation, excellent benefits and a comprehensive relocationpackage.
