I won’t be as prolific as usual in this blog today because I have packing to do and leftover stories to write ahead of tomorrow’s road trip to Washington D.C. aboard the ShmooBus. But I can tell you what to expect from the weekend:–On the journey south, I’ll be chatting up the passengers about the security challenges they find most vexing these days and what they’re hoping to learn.–I’ll probably update the blog with other amusing anecdotes that materialize on the trip.–Friday and Saturday, expect one or two stories a day from me and much more in this blog. If you subscribe to our Salted Hash newsletter, we’ll send you a full recap of ShmooCon coverage Monday morning.Be well, everyone. –Bill Brenner Related content news Gwinnett Medical Center investigating possible data breach After being contacted by Salted Hash, Gwinnett Medical Center has confirmed they're investigating a security incident By Steve Ragan Oct 02, 2018 6 mins Regulation Data Breach Hacking news Facebook: 30 million accounts impacted by security flaw (updated) In a blog post, Facebook’s VP of product management Guy Rosen said the attackers exploited a flaw in the website's 'View As' function By Steve Ragan Sep 28, 2018 4 mins Data Breach Security news Scammers pose as CNN's Wolf Blitzer, target security professionals Did they really think this would work?
