When I first started writing about information security in 2004, Sophos was one of the first companies I had heard of. They offered me a tour of their labs early on, and I found that Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for the vendor, was THE GUY for me to go to if news was breaking very early in the morning. He’s in the U.K. and if it was 5 a.m. here, it was mid-late-morning there and I’d always be able to reach him.Graham is coming by my office for a chat later this morning, and I’m looking forward to it. I’ll write a story about whatever news he brings me right after that meeting. He has never had a loss for words, so I’m pretty sure I’ll walk away with something to report. –Bill Brenner Related content news Gwinnett Medical Center investigating possible data breach After being contacted by Salted Hash, Gwinnett Medical Center has confirmed they're investigating a security incident By Steve Ragan Oct 02, 2018 6 mins Regulation Data Breach Hacking news Facebook: 30 million accounts impacted by security flaw (updated) In a blog post, Facebook’s VP of product management Guy Rosen said the attackers exploited a flaw in the website's 'View As' function By Steve Ragan Sep 28, 2018 4 mins Data Breach Security news Scammers pose as CNN's Wolf Blitzer, target security professionals Did they really think this would work?
