Health benefits company WellPoint has named Shamla Naidoo as Chief Information Security Officer. She will oversee all aspects of protection for information assets, intellectual property and computer systems and networks. Naidoo was previously CISO at Northern Trust Corp. and has held leadership roles at ABN Amro, Leo Burnett Technical Group and Spherion. She holds a law degree from John Marshall Law School and is a member of the Illinois Bar.
