Jon Wunderlich has joined McKesson in the newly created role of director, Information Security, McKesson Pharmaceutical, reporting to the VP, Enterprise Security, McKesson. This position is a cooperative initiative between the Enterprise Security Group within Corporate IT and the OneIT organization within U.S. Pharmaceutical. In this role, Jon will have responsibility for information security within the Pharma business and its subsidiaries. His primary role will be formulating and implementing information security risk management practices and metrics across the Pharma businesses as well as providing technical direction and security solutions support to ensure regulatory and policy compliance.Previously, Jon was Chief Information Security Officer for Sutter Health, where he was responsible for establishing and overseeing the information security program across Sutter’s 75+ facilities and 42,000 users. Prior to working in healthcare and information security, the high-tech veteran held senior leadership roles at AT&T, Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, Nortel Networks and John Muir Health supporting the telecommunications, professional services consulting, healthcare, financial services and transportation industries. He has also earned an Information Systems Security Professional Certification (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) credentials.
