Coal Worker Killed in Ky. Mining Accident

A worker with Teco Coal, a Teco Energy subsidiary, was killed early Thursday morning in an accident at the company’s Hazard 4 mine in Hazard, Ky., Reuters reports.

The miner was killed after a section of roof caved in, causing debris and rock to land on the worker, but that person was the only one injured, Reuters reports.
