On Wednesday, 27 people were charged in connection with an international online child pornography ring, the Associated Press reports via FOXNews.com.The people charged all played a part in the operation of an online chat room, called Kiddypics & Kiddyvids, that contained video clips of live child molestation, according to the AP.Investigators were able to identify seven of the children seen on the video clips, and four of the people accused of molesting them have been charged, the AP reports.Federal law enforcement agents recently made arrests connected to the case in Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, New York, North Carolina and Tennessee, according to the AP. Thirteen individuals have been charged in the United States for various infractions, including possession, production and distribution of child pornography, the AP reports.The remaining 14 suspects were arrested in Australia, Canada and Great Britain, according to the AP. The investigation in the United States was led by the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, the AP reports.For related news coverage, read N.H.
