Dag Sohlberg has been hired as full-time Director of Security for the Minnesota Vikings football franchise, as part of the organization’s reaction to allegations of sexual misconduct on a players’ cruise on Lake Minnetonka. Vikings owner Zygi Wilf characterized the position as helping ensure “the highest standards of team operations, including discipline, accountability, strong oversight and internal communications.” Sohlberg has spent five years as a part-time liaison between the Vikings and NFL security; he is a former FBI agent.
