CNET’s News.comreports that movie executives have even gone as far as to push foraction from the World Trade Organization. However, given the toughsanctions provided by the WTO’s Trade-Related Intellectual PropertyRights agreement, such a move would have major diplomatic implicationsat a time when the U.S. urgently needs Chinese help on North Korea andother issues.
