Weapon Found in Car… A high school teacher in Fairfax County, Va., was charged Tuesday with carrying a loaded handgun in his car while it was parked on school grounds. According to the Washington Post, police said there was no evidence that Timothy D. Fudd, 31, had planned to use the weapon. Fudd has a permit to carry a concealed weapon in the state, however, it is illegal to have a loaded weapon on school property except in special circumstances. Fudd was a substitute teacher in 2003 and was hired full-time in the fall of 2004. School officials said that Fudd has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
