Mall Security Adopts Israeli Tactics

While still just a harsh prophecy, a suicide attack at an American mallis on the minds of many security personnel. Private companies, lackingsupport and funds from the Department of Homeland Defense, are takingtheir cue and training from Israel. The Wall Street Journalreports that the Israelis have developed a sophisticated securitysystem to protect enclosed shopping centers that creates layers ofdefenses and has never allowed a successful breach by a suicide bomberto date.
