Purdy replaces Yoran at DHS

Andy Purdy, former deputy cybersecurity director for the US Department of Homeland Security, has been named acting director in the wake of Amit Yoran’s abrupt resignation. According to The Washington Post, Purdy has previously served as vice chairman for the President’s Critical Infrastructure Protection Board and as a memver of the US Sentencing Commission.
