Jerry L. Davis has been appointed Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Information Assurance for the US Department of Education. Davis previously served in the US intelligence community and as the Manager of Wide Area Network Security Architecture for the District of Columbia. He is an Information Science doctoral student and holds a BS in IT Security, a Masters in Network Security and the CISSP and PMP certifications.
