Stephen Cross, head of Carnegie Mellon’s CERT-CC and CEO of the Software Engineering Institute, has accepted a new position. Effective September 1, Cross will become Vice President at the Georgia Institute of Technology and director of the Georgia Tech Research Institute.Cross has served as the director of the SEI since 1996. He has also previously worked for DARPA, and is a member of the US Air Force Scientific Advisory Board.
