The New York Racing Association has filled several security posts. Kenneth Cook, a retired state police trooper, is the new director of security. Additionally Cook has named Richard Eggleston as chief of investigations and Bruce McAleavey as chief of patrol.

The NYRA manages the Belmont, Aqueduct and Saratoga racetracks and has made a number of management changes in the wake of a three-year federal investigation into possible employee fraud.
