Darren Lacey, former executive director of the Information Security Institute at Johns Hopkins University, has been named CISO for the University and Johns Hopkins Health System.In his new position, Lacey reports to CIO Stephanie Reel; he will focus initially on HIPAA compliance, working closely with legal and privacy leaders. He is responsible for data security practices across multiple Johns Hopkins locations. Lacey holds degrees in law, philosophy and mathematical logic.
