The Transportation Security Administration has promoted Lawrence Fetters to the federal security director post for the Los Angeles International Airport. Fetters, a 30-year veteran of the police department who also helped direct security for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, previously held the position of deputy federal security director at LAX.
