Visteon Corp. has named Robert Soderberg to the newly created position of director of corporate security. He will be in charge of all aspects of security for the Dearborn, Michigan-based manufacturer of automobile parts.Prior to joining Visteon, Soderberg was VP of worldwide loss prevention for the digital media services division of Thomson Multimedia. Before that, he was director of asset protection for Kmart Corp. Soderberg holds a CPP certification from the American Society of Industrial Security and is a board member of the National Cargo Security Council.
