The wiring closets (two per floor) are in locked rooms with a prominent sign that reads Electrical Room next to the door. This reminds me of the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea shows I watched as a kid. The sea monsters and other villains would always head to the room labeled Control Room, tear out hunks of wires, and the submarine would head to the bottom.
