Citigate Global Intelligence & Security announced the appointment of Paul Viollis as managing director and practice leader of the security services practice. He is responsible for developing and managing the security practice, building a global network of security experts, and forming alliances and partnerships for the global business intelligence firm.Before joining CGIS, Viollis was vice president of security services for Kroll Associates and vice president of business development and corporate training for Kroll Worldwide. While there, he was a member of the post-September 11th threat assessment team in New York City. He also served as chief executive officer and president of Corporate Risk Consulting, Inc., an international corporate training / consulting firm specializing in workplace security and risk avoidance. Viollis is a member of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers, Fraternal Order of Police, and the National Safety Council. He is a frequent speaker at the Risk & Insurance Management Society and the Public Risk Management Association, and is an Adjunct Professor at Barry University. He has a B.S. degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice (summa cum laude), M.P.A. from the University of Central Florida, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business.
