Security Movers: Attachmate Appoints New NZ Country Manager

Following several executive leadership changes earlier this year, Houston-based holding group Attachmate has promoted Martin Mooney to Country Manager, New Zealand.

Mooney was territory manager for Attachmatersquo;s NetIQ division since 2007. He will now oversee the grouprsquo;s four business units in NZ ndash; Attachmate, NetIQ and recently acquired Novell (and SUSE).

Mooney has previously worked for Datacom Foundry Networks, Compuware and F5.

After the take-over of Novell in April, the Attachmate Group shuffled a number of its high profile executive roles, including the appointment of former NZ general manager, Boris Ivancic to vice-president and general manager of Asia-Pacific.

Attachmate Grouprsquo;s products include security, interoperability, communications, management, virtualisation and terminal emulation software.
