Logic Bomb

A logic bomb is a section of code embedded within a program that is intended to cripple the system it is on. In some cases, the bomb is activated by the creator and in other scenarios the program is executed when the creator does not "check in" and turn off the bomb at regular intervals. Because of the programming knowledge and access rights needed to execute a logic bomb, this is primarily a threat from information technology employees.
