RELOCATION: No, Must be CA resident
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will aid in the development and maintenance of Business Continuity programs and plans throughout the Company including: Incident Command System, Alternate Work Location, Business Impact Analysis, Organizational Readiness, Training and Awareness Programs for Business Continuity Planners, Quality
Assurance Reviews of Business Continuity Plans, and Business Continuity Exercises, Benchmarking and Activity reporting; providing consulting services to clients; interacting with disaster recovery personnel to review disaster recovery plans to ensure adequate integration of business continuity plans with disaster recovery capabilities; facilitating meetings with Business Continuity Planners; reviewing plans for accuracy and making recommendations that have business impact; mapping business processes using Microsoft Office Suite and Visio; serving as a team leader for recurring, multi organizational or corporate-wide BC activities; developing and administering training and awareness programs for Business Continuity Planners; providing support to
more than 50 planners; collaborating on cross-functional teams to assure integration an compatibility of common response and planning efforts; preparing BC Activity Reports; mitigating business risks by insuring appropriate plans are developed and tested;
traveling using a personal vehicle throughout the Company territory; maintaining discipline and governance over matters like certification, accountability, stewardship of company property, and availability when needed on a 7X24 basis; and other duties and
responsibilities as requested.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) Disaster Recovery Institute International.

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology or a related specialized field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Typically possesses four or more years experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Demonstrated experience working with Incident Command System.
- Demonstrated experience working in cross functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing multiple concurrent projects which require delivery of products and services.
- Demonstrated experience consulting with clients, including independently identifying client needs, developing action plans, identifying deliverables, and presenting results.
- Demonstrated experience gathering and analyzing information and making strategic recommendations that have business impact.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing effectively and collaborating with peers, other departments and all levels of management to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
- Willingness to travel across the COMPANY service territory using a personal vehicle.
- Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PC application, including Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
