CSO Compass Awards

Each year, the CSO Compass Awards honor individuals who demonstrate excellence, achievement and leadership in security and drive business value.

Each year CSO's editors select a theme for the award and open nominations are taken from the security community. Each nominee is reviewed and judged by the CSO editorial team in terms of their leadership achievements as demonstrated by the depth and breadth of initiatives, creativity, specific measurable results, and suitability for the year's particular theme. We typically select five to six honorees each year; the awards are presented during the annual CSO Perspective Conference.

2010 CSO Perspectives Conference

The 2010 CSO Perspectives Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara in Santa Clara, California, April 5-7, 2010. A special awards ceremony will recognize and honor the Compass Awards and Next Awards recipients.

Please join us at CSO Perspectives and become part of the best practice discussions. Learn from the 2010 honorees and other security executive speakers as they detail how they have overcome challenges and have structured and designed security within their enterprises. Find out which technology innovations will transform the way business gets done, and take away great ideas for leading your own business into the future.
