Ron Hale

Ron Hale is currently the chief researcher at Cooraclare Institute, an organization dedicated to exploring the complex issues of information and cybersecurity and providing actionable guidance to help address these challenges. Prior to this Ron was the Chief Knowledge Officer for ISACA, an international association of specialists in information and cyber security, information systems audit and assurance, risk management, and the Enterprise Governance of Information and Information Technology. During his career he has led security innovation programs as an information security manager, researcher, and consultant serving leading enterprises. As the Chief Knowledge Officer, Ron led efforts to help ISACA constituents build careers through globally recognized certificate and certification programs that attest to the knowledge and skill required to enable trust in information and information systems.

Ron has a masters degree in Criminology from the University of Illinois and a doctorate in Public Policy from Walden University. He has been recognized by the National Association of Corporate Directors, being admitted to the Governance 100, for his work in and promotion of effective governance.
