Schuman: POS display gaffe hits many drive-thrus
Lawhorn's catch not an isolated incident
August 07, 2009 — CSO — StorefrontBacktalk reports that the software glitch that caused a drive-thru screen to display details of the store's point-of-sale system (described by Rick Lawhorn on CSOonline) affected many other fast-food chains as well.
Lawhorn noted that the problem is compounded by lack of physical security on the drive-thru displays.
