Q: Are there areas where your ID management solution has reduced the cost of Lehman Brothers' Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts?

A: Yes and no. While ID management has enabled us to gather, analyze and present data about user access faster, it has also opened up a window of opportunity that has us creating new reports and analyses that we never would have attempted before. I would speculate that ID management has proven a net cost-savings to Sarbanesâ¬Oxley and related compliance reporting, but it has proven itself most valuable in creating new ways to ensure compliance from the start, during the request and approval process, and in the provisioning process.
