2. Baselined legacy relationship with DoT, which produced 170 line items that dealt with everything from shared contracts to shared use of the Coast Guard clinic.
3. Contracted company to create and manage database of the 170 line items and devised time lines for transition and "desired end states."
4. Synced up this work with DoT's own similar work. DoT Secretary Norman Mineta assigned person to create points of contact for each line item.
5. Resolved 165 of 170 line items. Five outstanding items varied from issues involving council chairmanships to who would lead a recapitalization effort.
6. Work transcribed into memorandum of agreement signed by DoT and USCG.
7. Memorandum of agreement wrapped into larger memorandum of agreement for all of DHS.
