Metrics will be a hot area in particular. Increasingly, security professionals are expected to demonstrate the value of their efforts. Charisma and communication skills are part of the solution, but they only go so far. As a result, companies are increasingly interested in candidates who know and understand the value of information security metrics--tools that allow them to measure, evaluate and refine their efforts. Regardless of career level, it’s more important than ever to understand and define the value you provide to your employer.
