Burns & McDonnell has hired Paulo Silva as Regional Head of Global Cyber Security Practice

Burns & McDonnell has hired Paulo Silva as Regional Head of Global Cyber Security Practice.

Silva will lead the Global Cyber Security Practice, an expansion of the firm’s Business and Technology Services (BTS) group. Silva will be utilized to provide services to several billion dollar infrastructure improvements programs located throughout the Northeast and also to expand the company’s offerings to new clients.

Silva most recently worked as Chief Information Security Advisor for PECO, the largest utility and natural gas Company in Pennsylvania. Silva also worked as the Global Head of Data Protection for Citigroup, SVP. He brings over 15-years of proven experience with implementing information security management systems (ISMS), IT compliance, data leak prevention technologies, network security and smart grid technologies. This includes working for a variety of global and Fortune 500 companies to design, implement and audit meaningful information security systems.
