#FFSec, March 15: Five infosec pros who stand out

Follow these names on Twitter. Together, they make cyberspace a more secure place. (copy and paste)

This week's standouts:

1.) @hrbrmstr: Bob Rudis, infosec and risk director at Liberty Mutual, is more than just a top-notch security mind. He's also an activist in the community. Among other things, he helps organize meet-ups of local infosec professionals in his home state of New Hampshire. He's generous with his time whenever I need to tap into his expertise, and I always walk away smarter for it.

2.) @selenakyle: Allison Miller, senior director of operations (digital platform) at Electronic Arts, is a great resource for those looking to better understand risk management in the financial services sector. She also has a long list of appearances as a speaker and panelist to her credit. She's down to earth and will explain complex security matters in a clear, simple manner.

3.) @BrianHonan: Brian Honan is an infosec consultant, blogger, author and founder-head of Ireland's CSIRT (@irisscert). After following him on Twitter for years, I finally had the pleasure of meeting him during the recent RSA conference.

4.) @jadedsecurity: Boris Sverdlik, manager of product and platform security at Tagged, is a straight shooter and realist, something that's not always easy to come by in this industry.

5.) @briankrebs: It almost seems silly to include Brian Krebs on this list. After all, who in this community doesn't follow him already? But I feel compelled to do so because I continue to appreciate the investigative journalism he brings to the table. I've been a journalist for 20 years, so take it from me: Krebs is the best infosec scribe out there. Period.
