BSides returns to Boston

Mark your calendars: BSidesBoston is Saturday, Feb., 23, 2012 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

One of my favorite events, Security B-Sides, is returning to Boston. One of the organizers sent me details by email last night. Here are the raw, awesome details:

#BSidesBOS is Saturday, February 23rd, 2013!

What is BSides?

Launched in mid-2009, Security BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening. Our first Security BSides Boston was in 2010.

Where: Microsoft New England Research & Development Center (NERD), near Kendall/MIT, Cambridge, MA The hash tag to use is #BSidesBOS
